Second PDI Competition - again a great display of wonderful images

The second PDI Competition of the season was judged by Ian Howard, who stepped in when our scheduled judge was unable to attend and gave us an excellent critique of each image with some humour thrown in.

Once again there was a bumper crop of images entered and in group 2 the fourth image from each person was removed; these can be entered in to another competition later in the season if the members so wish. As usual the standard of images was fantastic and once again showed the range of images and the skills of the members of our club.

In Group 2 these were the images that were placed 1st, 2nd, 3rd, Highly Commended and Commended:

1ST PLACE Chris West Untitled Well done CHRIS !! An excellent street photography image.

2ND PLACE Mike Aubry with Great Green Bush Cricket - a really well taken image !

3RD PLACE Chris West again with P504 - another one of his signature street photography images!

HIGHLY COMMENDED Mike Aubry Marbled White Butterfly - lovely and sharp image!

COMMENDED Andy Kettle Hill Top swing - great tree well composed with the children on the swings !

2ND Dave Berger - Looming into the mist - great angle and certainly does disappear into the mist at the top !

3rd Terry Scales - Senate House Mallet Street entrance - striking image skillfully put together !!

COMMENDED Paul Norris - Bailing - great shot !
