Long Exposure - set subject print competition

Our second set subject competition of the season was to make images using long exposure and there were a variety of print entries, which were judged by Paul Parkinson in a light hearted but thorough and informative way. First place went to Eddie Bradley with a lovely image entitled "The gymnast of Budva", showing milky sea and sky and a fantastic sculpture; minimalistic but beautiful with gorgeous colours. Well done for getting such a great shot.

Second place went to Peter Brewer with a great image entitled "Piano movement" capturing a moment in time with ghostly hands playing, and third place went to Steve Lee with his image "Wind and rain" showing a milky sea and a brooding sky with plenty of movement. Great to see such excellent examples of using long exposure to its full effect.Take a look below at these images.
